Description

An evergreen Haemanthus type with a very dark colour. It is a complicated cross of tetra H. albiflos with H. deformis with a tetraploid H. albiflos x H. coccineus hybrid. Can be used as a houseplant or as a tub plant, not hardy. This very unusual hybrid is tetraploid and therefore probably somewhat fertile. The old leaves have suffered a little, but the regrowth is perfect.
