Description
This Allium inhereted only the best properties of both genitors: from A. atropurpureum, the intense dark purple colour and from A. christophii the beautiful intertwined star-shaped flowers with a metallic sparkle. The semi-spherical umbel has a 10-12 cm diameter. The stem is a considerable 80 cm in length. A perfect and fragrant cut flower, which mixes well with for example gray-leafed plants in a border.
