The compact, approximately 5 cm wide spherical inflorescence consists of dozens of small red-purple bell-shaped purple flowers with protruding stamens. Origin: Mediterranean to the Caucasus, the Belgian Ardennes and close to Bristol. Nice as cut and dried flower.
