Originated from A. karataviense x A. atropurpureum, height and flower size are in perfect balance. Intense purple-red colour, beautiful leaves, even at the time of flowering. Ostara is the moment when day and night are of the same length: balance is reached at that point. The name Ostara comes from the Anglo-Saxon goddess Eostra, a goddess of the Spring season.
