Description

A summer-flowering ornamental onion with an airy, spherical flower cluster. The outside of the almost white flowers has a pink tinge. Remarkable protruding stamens. In the wild A. albidum is found in the Balkans to the Caucasus, Iran and Turkey, on sandy soil and in rocky areas. Clud-forming growth habit.
