Description

The only autumn-flowering species. Native to Corsica, Sardinia and Spain. The spathe is purple on the inside, has a lighter colour on the outside and reaches a height of 40 cm. The spadix is almost black. During flowering, the plant emits an unpleasant odor. The leaves appear after flowering and have beautiful silvery veins.
