Description

The native range of this short-leaved subspecies is from southern Turkey to north-western Jordan. Growing in temperate climates, Colchicum flowers appear immediately after winter, usually pink, pale pink, sometimes white. The range are descendants of material originally collected near Yayla, Turkey, by Dr Dima Zubov.
