Description
This ginger-like Hedychium hybrid has its roots in Nepal. It is one of the most hardy cultivars, tolerating down to -15 degrees C. Fully grown, it reaches a height of 2 metres and blooms at the end of a densely foliated stem with orange-red flowers that together form a 20 cm long cluster.
