Description
Spring Corydalis or bird-in-a-bush. Origin: Lebanon, western Asia and large parts of Europe. In the Netherlands along the major rivers, around old country estates and still here and there in southern Limburg. A special feature of this bulbous plant is the gutter-forming scale at the beginning of the flower stem. The flowers form a cluster and are red. The delicate incised leaf has a fresh green colour.
