Description
Perhaps the most desirable in the crocus range. Collected by Helmut Kerndorff and Erich Pasche in 1992 in the Taurus mountains in Antalya province, southern Turkey. Named after Brian Mathew. The offered is carefully raised from seed, the shimmering white flowers have a slightly variable violet throat, an all-red stigma and yellow stamens.
