Description
First described in 1890 at Kew. In southeastern Turkey, C. leichtlinii is found in open places, often on rocky or volcanic soils. Light lilac flowers, sometimes slightly whiter or more blue. When the flowers open, the orange throat together with the orange anthers is a spectacular sight. Quite rare and still very little offered.
