Description

According to tradition, the first specimens were collected in 1901 in the southwest of Turkey (Anatolia) and imported via the former Smyrna (now Izmir) by the firm Van Tubergen. The dark green, serrated leaves are heart-shaped with irregular gray-green, cream or silver spots. The fragrant pink flowers with a stone-red eye appear from September. Tip: mix a handful of composted pine needles into the soil. Hardy to -18 ° C.
