Description

Intro: 1601. Division 4. The double-flowered form of N. odorus. Double Campernelles. The wonderfully fragrant yellow flowers look like roses. In the book 'De Narcis' from 1908 written by D.J.M. Wüstenhoof and R. H. Beerhorst, I came across another nice synonym: Queen Anne's Double Jonquil, with the application a.o: "in the grass or the edge of a flower bed". Particularly suitable for naturalising.
