Description

F. eduardii is found high in the mountains of Tajikistan, Turkey, northeastern Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan, among others. Characteristically, the flowers and bulbs do not emit the so-called fox scent, as F. imperialis does. The inflorescence of the healthy-growing cultivar 'Sunrise' consists of orange-red, nodding, bell-shaped flowers, which curl back slightly. The foliage is dark green.
