When planted near shrubs, Fritillaria will cling to the branches with its adhesive tendrils. The flower stem bears about six scattered cream-green, nodding, bell-shaped flowers that are speckled red on the inside. Origin: eastern Siberia, northwestern China and naturalised in Japan.
