Description
(Synonyms: G. elwesii subsp. minor and G. elwesii subsp. yatintaschii). Closely related to G. elwesii but smaller in all parts. Was already described by Czech botanist L.J. Celakovsky in 1891. A good-growing species that occurs from southern Ukraine to western Turkey. The narrow, upright leaf is often twisted around its axis, giving a corkscrew-like appearance.
