Description

A European species, the gladiolus called 'Whistling Jack' in England, also marketed as 'True species'. Magenta purple-red flowers appearing in long flower spikes from May onwards. Wild occurring in the fields in Cornwell and awarded an Award of Merit by the R.H.S. Hardy.
