Description
The common snowdrop that everyone knows. If there are snowdrops in fairy tales, poems and stories, it is always this snowdrop. This species is native to Western, Central and Southern Europe, but was imported into the Netherlands around 1500. The outer petals are white and the inner ones have small, green, U-shaped marks on them. Excellent garden plant, suitable for naturalising.
