The famous double snowdrop which has been cultivated since 1731. The inner petals form a frivolous skirt and the leaves are not nearly as neatly arranged as with for example the Greatorex doubles. The nice thing about these snowdrops is that they all recognisable from a great distance. The outer petals are lifted by the inner and therefore they look extra white. They bloom long, strong and multiply rapidly, you will have a field of them before you know it.
