Description

Blue star lily. Intro: 1821. Origin: from the Caspian Sea via Asia Minor to Israel and Egypt. The slender flower stems with dark funnel-shaped flowers appear from late May. The umbel contains ten to fifteen loose flowers. They thrive in a dry, sunny location, perfect for naturalising .
