Description

A 1930s parakeet tulip cultivated by H.M. Ruysenaars. A mutation of Bartigon, an 1894 tulip from the breeder Krelage. Awarded an Award of Merit in the year of introduction. From Tulipa ' Red Champion', the well-known Parrot Tulip 'Estella Rijnveld' is a mutation.
