Description
Intro: 1929. Origin: Western Turkey. Named after Edward Whittall who had a nursery near Izmir. The name was already used in 1920 but registred in 1940. This small tulip that blooms in April has bright orange inner petals with a dark glow towards the base. The outer petals are brown-yellow with a green glow the anthers are almost black. AGM in 1999.
