Description
Intro: 1952. W.R. Dykes crossed T. batalinii x T. maximowiczii, from which arose, inter alia, 'Bright Gem'. This successful little tulip has charming sulphur yellow flowers with an orange blush on the outside. When the sun starts shining, the flowers fully open. Grey-green corrugated leaves. Very nice for in pots.
